Step-By-Step Information For Setting Up Your Seller/Store Account
Note: You do not need an account to purchase items from sellers.
Setting up your own Main Street Vintage selling account is easy and, if you are going to pay with PayPal, it's fast too. You could be listing your items today!
Paying with a PayPal subscription allows you to setup and access your store right away. If you do not already have a PayPal account, but would like one, click the PayPal card graphic to the left.
You do not need to know any HTML nor have your own listing template in order to set up your account, open your store or add listings. All these features are built into the easy configuration forms right in the site.
Here's all you have to do:
- Before you begin, you may want to create a thumbnail image and a banner for your store. You can do this yourself or you can purchase a set designed to your requirements. Click Here to find out more.
- Once you have your graphics ready, or if you decide to proceed without them, begin setting up your selling account by clicking on the signup link in the menu at the top of almost any page. The main portion of the signup form looks like this:

Please be sure to read all instructions carefully and use the yellow help buttons for more information.
- Select your account package and payment method. If you elect to pay by other than PayPal, you will need to wait until your access is approved and perhaps until your payment is received and processed. The mailing address is provided during the process. Feel free to contact lorama@swbell.net to discuss any questions you might have. With the form completely filled, click the Enter Data button to move to the next page. If you want to pay with PayPal, which will result in setting up a monthly subscription account, click the Subscribe button and proceed through the PayPal process.
- Be sure to complete the entire PayPal process right through until you are returned to the Main Street Vintage site. You will then be able to set up your store by filling out the store configuration form:

Below this header there will be thirteen sections to fill out, including a place to upload thumbnail, banner and background graphics if desired. The only thing you must enter at this point is your store name, but this and everything else can be added or changed later. - Once you have completed your signup procedure and configured your store you will be ready to access your account and add listings. To actually begin listing, select the members link in the menu at the top of almost any page and login to your account with the user ID and password you supplied in the signup process.
That's all there is to it. The site is designed to be simple to use. If you read the instructions given and use the yellow help buttons, there should be no problems. It's fast and easy to create your own seller/store account on Main Street Vintage, and you will always have friendly, competent technical support available to you.
