Vintage 40s Black Rayon Knit Lurex Noir Johnny Collar Dress with Silver Threads XL B40

I love the casual styling of this 1940’s cocktail dress with a sportswear vibe that would have looked great on Hepburn or Lauren Bacall.
Stretchy knit shot though with silver metallic threads, Johnny collar neckline and an elastic waist.
Belt and shoulder pads are not included, just used for styling.

Condition: The only flaws are the missing belt and shoulder pads I had to remove because they had fallen apart.

It is always best to measure an item that fits you well and compare. I measure from side to side and then double for bust, waist and hips (7 inches down from waistline). Bodice length and total length are from top of shoulder down. Please email me if you have any questions.

While I am very careful to note each flaw found on and item, I do recognise that even I make mistakes, so of course I am happy to accept returns on any item that is not as described. These items will be issued a refund of the purchase price (minus shipping cost) or a store credit at the discretion of you the customer.
Other returns are done on a case by case basis.
I DO NOT guarantee fit, nor accept returns based on fit, so please be aware of what measurements will fit you. If you wish to return an item, you will need to contact me within 3 days of delivery to see if I will accept your return. Items must be returned within 7 days with delivery confirmation.
Returned items will be issued a full refund (minus shipping fee) if I made a mistake, as long as they are returned in the same condition as received.

Returns accepted for other reasons will be subject to a 30% restocking charge and issued a store credit as long as they are returned in the same condition as received and unworn.
Please be careful when trying on your new garment as a cleaning fee will be deducted from your refund for anything sent back with perfume and smoke, or any kind of stains.
